This SCW Glassworks original is a hand-painted and fired window adorned with intricate details and meticulous craftsmanship. Paying homage to the traditional church widows of the early 20th century, this design embodies the profound faith of the artist.

The centerpiece depicts a cross resting upon a rugged rock, enveloped in the fabric of the man who endured its suffering. This somber image is juxtaposed against a serene blue sky, adorned with divine rays emanating from behind one of the clouds. The triple border is a harmonious blend of clean wave glass with the vibrant hues of Easter, featuring each green and yellow element meticulously hand-painted with yellow crosses and green olive branches interwoven into the design.

This one-of-a-kind panel will provide inspiration and joy for generations, crafted from over 100 meticulously shaped hand-blown artisan glass pieces. Each element has undergone meticulous painting and firing to preserve its intricate details.

A sturdy zinc frame secures the panel, ensuring its suitability for hanging or mounting within a window opening. The solder lines and frame have been finished in a black patina, enhancing the panel’s sense of antiquity and historical significance. The solder, frame, and glass have been protected with Carnauba wax, resulting in a high-gloss finish.
