This gorgeous stained glass panel commemorates a famous quote by Bill W. In the book Alcoholics Anonymous. This 15 inch disc depicts a rocket launching up into a mesmerizing sky of rare hand-blown glass of dark blues, purples and yellows. The character of the glass with all of its streak and crackles is meticulously preserved with each part perfectly cut to maintain the pattern.
The sky is dotted with yellow four pointed star and round glass globes that focus the light with amazing brilliance. The window of the rocket is a German made faceted glass jewel the twinkles in the light.
The billowing exhaust of the rocket is a gorgeous frosted white, light seedy glass with a pillow texture that really looks like clouds. The bottom of the panel is a high polished back glass with “Rocketed to the 4th Dimension” etched into the surface and rubbed with silver colored polish in to make the text pop.
This SCW Glassworks original features a sturdy zinc frame and all solder elements have been treated with a dark patina to give a well aged look, protected with Carnauba wax and buffed to a high polished shine. All pieces are studio quality, cathedral glass that will never fade in color.
